EXCOR® ADULT
EXCOR® Adult is a mechanical, pulsatile heart support system. (Ventricular Assist Device, VAD). The paracorporeal VAD is used for the short to long-term support of the left and/or right ventricular pumping function. It is indicated in seriously ill adults suffering life-threatening heart failure, after all conservative therapeutic options have been exhausted.

EXCOR® Pediatric is a mechanical, pulsatile ventricular assist device (VAD), which is especially designed for babies, children and adolecents. The paracorporeal VAD is used for the short to long-term support of the left and/or right ventricular pumping function.

Small, smart and agile – EXCOR® ACTIVE *. The new mobile component for pulsating systems in Berlin Heart is designed specifically to facilitate the movement for children. Small as hand luggage and a battery that lasts at least 5 hours EXCOR ACTIVE offers good mobility and independence.
